WWE News – WWE’s Latest Impact Poach Isn’t A Wrestler The exodus of Impact talent continues as longtime Impact Wrestling personality Jeremy Borash has been hired by World Wrestling Entertainment. He was backstage at WWE events this past weekend and reports were he was simply telling people he was visiting friends, but sources have learned he has, in fact, joined WWE and left his position at Impact of several years. This is seen by many as a huge loss for Impact Wrestling as Borash was the consistent voice of the company despite the company’s many ups and downs. He was last known to be doing commentary voiceovers for upcoming episodes of Impact Wrestling, and his exit is being seen by many as a shocking turn of events. It leaves Impact in a very tough position and what they’ll do about his exit could be a huge hurdle for the company. According to PWInsider, what Borash will be doing in WWE is uncertain but he’s got experience as an interviewer, commentator, and writer, helping work on projects like “Broken” Matt Hardy. He also spearheaded Impact’s social media presence, ran production and execution of Impact live events and Borash was instrumental in some of the more unique ideas Impact put forward. Behind the scenes, Borash was potentially more of a consistent influence than anyone else in the company’s history. Borash had been with Impact since the company’s formation in 2002. He’s been a part of every small detail including work that will be airing on Impact over the next few weeks to months. Whether the company chooses to reshoot and reproduce those segments is uncertain, especially if he appears on WWE television. For WWE, he’ll be a huge asset, but at the end of the day, he could also be Impact’s final nail in the coffin.
